“I have never written a review before but I feel like this place warrents one….the Audi dealership…quoted me at $2000….Well, I called auto engineer(ing) and the woman on the phone quoted me at $500-600 … At first I thought she had taken the wrong info … She kept saying she knew the job and they had just “downgraded” it to 3.5-4 hrs labor. I have never been so impressed! They were very professional and took great care of the car! Even though the place is 45 min away from me I will now be taking every problem I have to them!!!!”

“(the staff at Auto Engineering) are extremely capable. They are very qualified and open about what they are doing. They are a little pricey, but the price is reasonable considering the nature of the work they do. They are great. The price was for the labor only. I am very happy with them.

“Getting good service on your Audi can be really difficult in the Boston area. This place does a good job and the people here treat you like a human being.
The dealers (Brookline, Herb Chambers [formerly Pass & Weisz], Bernardi) charge an arm and a leg and treat you with disdain–as if they’re doing you some big favor by taking your $95 per hour. As soon as your warranty is up, ditch the Audi dealer and head to an independent shop.”
